Paolo Pacorini

CEO

Paolo is a business executive with international experience. He’s from Trieste but lived in London, Barcelona and the United States, where he led the American branch of his family company to a tumultuous growth, expanding its geographical presence to 6 new locations and increasing revenues from $8M to $60M, until its sale for $50M in 2011. He joined BioMine, a Silicon Valley-based startup (now Blue Oak Resources) as a member of the founding team. Blue Oak Resources aims at recovering precious metals from electronic waste by leveraging new technologies and a novel business model, and was funded by a top venture capital firm. In 2012 he moved back to Italy to found EnerProject with his brother and father.

Paolo holds a law degree and an MBA and in 2011 he attended Singularity University. 

Corrado Govoni

Senior Project Engineer

Corrado is the company’s senior Project Engineer. He graduated in Engineering from the University of Trieste and has vast experience in mechanical engineering and electric energy systems, developing his know-how on industrial applications.

Corrado has deep knowledge of the European and Italian rules and regulations governing distributed power production and at EnerProject he’s responsible for overseeing and validating the projects from a both a functional and compliance standpoint.

From 2017 Corrado is a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional.

Alessandro Verzier

CFO

Alessandro has over 20 years of professional experience in the corporate finance and accounting areas. He started his career as a supervisor for Ernst & Young, working at major companies like Fincantieri, Generali, Unicredit. In 2002 he joined the Pacorini Group, where he reached the position of Group CFO, overseeing the company’s fiscal and financial planning, as well as implementing the statutory and management reporting at corporate and at branch level. In his position he was involved in several M&A operations.

From 2014 Alessandro serves as CFO for EnerProject’s parent company and provides fiscal and financial consulting services as a Dottore Commercialista.

Davide Culinas

Project Engineer

Davide is graduated in Civil Engineering. As well as assisting in every technical aspect of our projects, Davide has specialised in the measurement and monitoring activities necessary to evaluate and quantify energy saving projects. Since 2017 Davide is also a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (IT), and since 2018 he is a Certified specialist in Acoustics. 

Giulio Dal Maso

Project Manager

Mechanical Engineer,  during his career at the University Giulio worked on innovative energy efficiency projects, including ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) and non destructive controls. Priori to joining EnerProject, Giulio was working as a project manager for a multinational company providing turnkey solutions for milling plants in the metal industry.  

Alberto Morich

Project Engineer

Alberto is a mechanical engineer; he has international experience as a project engineer at Babcock Wanson and subsequently at Arup in London (energy division). In his role, Alberto was involved in the design and construction of a vast number of installations in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors. 

Marco Cefarin

Project Engineer

Mechanical Engineer  (PhD); he earned his doctorate at the University of Trieste with a study on water and ammonia absorbers. He became an expert in industrial refrigeration, a skill he refined over the years working for the market leaders in ammonia systems. 

Mauro Micheli

Operations Manager

Mauro brings to EnerProject 30 years of experience in managing all technical installations for 5 production plants of a leading brand in the food sector. In his position Mauro grew to become an expert in everything related to energy, and has achieved a know-how that allows him to efficiently manage EnerProject's investments after installation.

Among other titles, Mauro is a certified Energy Manager and is licensed to operate steam boilers and ammonia chillers and absorbers.  

Federico Di Biase

Senior Project Manager

Federico is a very experienced engineer, grown up in the high demanding business of steel and ironmaking. After graduating in Material Engineering from the University of Trieste in 2004 he started his career as process engineer for Lucchini Group where in few years he reached the position of planning and controlling manager. He attended a Master in Ironmaking at Politecnico di Milano on 2008. After more than one decade he moved to Danieli Group as senior project manager where he followed several projects in different markets and countries. In 2021 he joined the Enerproject team to bring his experience into the challenging business of energy efficiency.
